Appearance

Stovoj is, by any measure, an enormous presence. His physical size changes, sometimes considerably, day by day, but he's almost always at least a head taller than even very large Hrothgar. With a body changed by dark and deadly experiments, he's as thickly built as he is tall.Stovoj's style of dress tends to reflect that his size is highly variable: darker clothes to minimize any strangeness in their fit, and that tend to be worn open or made of materials that can stretch.

Voice

Stovoj's voice takes up as much space as the rest of him: his huge basso profundo is quick to offer a kind word or a hearty, rumbling laugh. His purr is low enough to be more heard than felt. He's often rough with his language, but it's rare to hear an unkind word from him.

Personality

His boisterous personality belies a kind and sensitive nature. Believing people tend not to look too closely if the inside matches the outside, Stovoj often blusters and pretends to be the musclebound bruiser he looks to be at first glance. But that mask often slips, revealing the gentle soul within.

Biography

Raised in Martvje, a bleak port city in occupied Bozja and the only child of two small-time traders who secretly backed the Bozjan resistance, Stovoj had the good fortune to enroll in a school for gifted students at an early age. He excelled in his studies and left the program with a good foundation in arts, sciences, and aetherology. Born small and with a reedy physique, the path of Stovoj's life would have gone very differently had he not been kidnapped off the street and subjected to a Garlean program intended to create a new breed of Void-touched supersoldier. Stovoj was one of scant few subjects who, through sheer dumb luck, survived, but he was forever changed.With a body infused with Voidsent essence and a metabolism that runs on umbral aether, Stovoj must carefully consider his appetites: if he doesn't attend to his needs, he can become sick and weak. If he overindulges, he can go into a berserk killing frenzy.

Connections

The Dawn CrossStovoj is a secret member of the Dawn Cross, a clandestine group of do-gooders. He specializes in dealing with Voidsent monsters--who he often needs to devour to fuel his strange metabolism anyway--and front-line combat.J'vala TiaJ'vala Tia is Stovoj's fiancee.
